Freewheel teeth twisted?

Has anybody ever seen twisted teeth on an ACS Claws? I converted an old Bianchi to ss for a friend about 6 months ago and this week noticed that the teeth look slightly twisted. I don't remember if they looked like that when I put it on. I also don't remember if they're twisted clockwise or counterclockwise (bike's not here). The weird thing is that they all seem to be uniformly shaped. Is this by design or did a really bad chainline over the last 6 months twist the cog teeth? I am confused.

The chainline seems like it could be the reason. I mean, what else?

I have a six speed freewheel and on a couple of the gears the teeth are twisted slightly (it came this way). I assume that it is a shifting aid. I've had an ACS claws ss freewheel before too and there was no twist whatsoever. It was loud as a mother****er though.

I'd say it's from poor chainline combined with lots of mashing. A while back, somebody posted a pic of the cog from an Eno that had been used on a SS mtn bike. All the teeth were sort of twisted in the same direction.
