Cant decide between black and brown.. Black is the obvious choice due to black parts but I think brown would look real classy.

I would go black personally. I think honey is sooooo classy but it matches better with chrome parts IMO. I kinda wish I had gotten a honey one instead of a black one, but the black looks good on my Pista.

Black may match up better with black parts but honey is Brooks' signature color. You can pick it out of a line up. Besides, honey brown and the San Jose blue will look awesome.

hello
Get the honey or the antique brown. If you don't like the color you can always dye it black. That's what I did. I used permanent hair dye. Won't rub off.

I got honey and it looks great on my blue road bike. I will put it on my black and yellow FB next and I expect that to look good too!

I'd say honey (or black) over brown.

No, it seems brown is less available than before. I have 2 brown, 1 black, 1 green, and 1 maroon. Honey is definately lighter than brown.

I have the Honey B-17 on my SJ, and it looks great (but I have the green frame). The Brown ones are becoming rare, unless you buy the 'pre-aged' version...which wasn't quite to my taste.
With a couple good coats of Proofide and a few decent rides, the Honey will darken down to a nice rich burgundy (at least mine did). And like others have said, you can always dye it black later on.

I guess you won't be needing that erection any more!.. Personally, there's nothing wrong with the one you have on it. A retro saddle on a modern bike does not work.

You can see some water-marking along the back edge. No, it's not from me taking a "pro-style" Nature Break while on the bike; I was caught in a nasty rainstorm, many miles from home. The saddle seems fine, but it left the mark. Ah, well....
I've got a nice leather mudflap dangling from the front fender (alliteration!) now...it almost matches the Brooks...but the saddle looks kinda brown in that foto, eh?
