Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Get some clips/straps, a proper lever, and some allen skewers on that thing and ride like crazy! The seat looks awkwardly too forward though.

i already switched the back wheel out for a solid axel, i might do the front too
i'm not going to add straps because this is going to be my guest bike and i'd rather have it as easy as possible

Nice looking chainline. I recommend putting another brake on there if you're running singlespeed and not fixed.

yeah especially since this isn't really for me but as a backup for those without bikes who may be over
this frame has the 'notches' i'll call them to route the cables through the top tube

I recommend some sort of bar tape. Also, do you ride while holding your stem frequently?

i personally ride up top close to the stem, if anyone else wants to ride this they are going to have to learn to like it

Well, I think you were asked that question because of the brake lever position.

Nice bike, but that levers location doesn't make much sense to me. When braking hard with the front, I like my hands placed wider on the bars to brace myself (for control and endo prevention). It also looks hard to reach. Save up for some bar tape and chainring bolts.

Enjoy your new ride.
