Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? in the other threads they said pulses went for 1200 or more, so if it's NOS and been maintained that sounds like a good price. the pulse is the better of the two.

I'm sure this subject has been extensively covered; but just for my amusement...

The Pulse is better why? I think I saw one at the TTown swap last fall. It was silver and seemed to have much cleaner welds.

The wheels on the pulse are easily worth $300+, so you can make some money up that way.

The Pulse was Easton tubing. The Pulse complete was basically decked out in DA with Mavic CXP30 rims.

anyone know why the GT's came in thin tubing? I mean it is aluminum and I thought you go with thicker tubing to keep the strength while increasing stiffness as well? I always wondered this.

Didn't someone say that GT was resurrecting the Pulse track frame? I guess we'll find out after Interbike.
