Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Hey guys, remember me? Finally got that piece into action tonight and spread those stays. I didn't really measure the angles yet (can't find any string) but I will probably get it checked out at a bike shop within the week or later today. Me on Keirin, I'm happy as a young child on Christmas (or so I always say!) And the 51.5cm frame is more perfect fit than I remember, way controlable--Since I usually ride 53.

I've been reading about hubs and bearings lately and I really need hands-on with some things. My rear Surly is showing some play, the bearing hold bolt is loose, need to get that tightened or packed or something, I'm sure it's not dangerous though...thinks.

Now I finally, once again, have a nice Ride. And yes, I'm keeping my crappy seat and post! Comfy is always fun and plus it fits my style.

Wish I had picks...

Thanks for all your help. Keep riding and Infront of everything else, Ride safe please? No showing off and falling...damn that sucks.
