In the time it took me to go through five pages of posts, I could have already taken it.
The OP needs to either sh*t or get off the pot.

Like a loser, I keep coming back to this thread to see what happened...at this point, who cares?
This far into it...whatever the outcome, one says "about time!".
If the OP posted...bike was stolen, bike was found locked up, bike was retrieved...it would have been a cool thread.
This thread turned into... should I use my right hand or my left hand to wipe my *****? Should I use gloves while doing it? Should I maybe ask a friend to do it? How do you think I should get it done??
Just wipe it already!!!!!!!! I no longer care how it gets done.

i came back here in hopes of a happy ending and all i got was a waste of time reading through all this garbage. especially if the OP is '195 pounds of muscle', go get your girl's friggin' bike back already, dammit. or rather: you should have told her where it was and she'd have gotten it back already, herself!
can't even comment on what OP told the cop and cop told him. my brain hurts. uh.

Relax.
Here's the deal:
He went and got the coppers, they went and retrived the bike. The cops pistol whipped the bike theif for 5-10 minutes behind the dumpster, then let him go.
The dude was going to go straight home to post the events of the evening on BFSSFG, But as soon as his girl saw her old bike, he was Prince Valliant in shining armor and she had to thank him the only way she knows how...
The dude is still sleeping, and/or revelling in more gratitude from his girl, why would he waste his time running off to the comp to post to us losers?
All in due time.

However, you are a loser for coming back to thread to check on the story and making a whiny little post. Just saying.
