Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

it's our "drinking helmet" lol once someone falls in our apt. they have to put the helmet on if they want to keep drinking lol

For those who think im "being an idiot"

I don't take myself very seriously for most parts of my life (such as this). The only exception is when it comes to work or school. I think that as long as I can laugh at myself and not take myself to seriously I will live healthy and active for a long time. I watched my dad get really old really fast because of all the stress of life, I don't want to go the same way.

I'd say it's unsafe. Cutting big chunks out of a helmet is generally discouraged...but I'd say that you have different concerns than personal safety.

Maybe you could pick up some side-money doing freelance street-sweeping.
