Chicago BLT Fixed/SS group
Okay Chicago fixies/trackies/SSers...
https://www.chibikefed.org/blt/sign_up.html
I have done this before and am contemplating it again this year (it is a good way to see parts of Chicago you may not see everyday), but want to know if there is anyone else out there who would go 'a la uno'...one gear only. Just want company as the GF does not have a bike as of now (DON'T CALL ME A SLACKER YET...). Maybe we can get a nice group together, or maybe not.

If I were not 1200 miles away I would go. I have done half century's here (Hilly) and they were fun. If you ride with the multigeared sissies just make sure you chose a ratio that keeps you at a comfortable spin with that group.
P.S. my page is up.

Aww, I'd do it but I'm not willing to pay $40 to ride on a road that I pay taxes for. I'm down for trying to sneak on (can't be that hard) and doing it without paying though! Everything is better when it's free.

Now if we could only get the lazy suburbanites and their cities to connect trails to Chicago that are well-maintained and usable...but, Soccer moms and SUVs rule the day.
To each their own...
...and don't be so anti-social Koffee
