Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

well, i've made a couple changes since i first got it. i'm now running a 17t in the rear, selle italia slr gel flow saddle, dimensions 80mm stem along with threaded to threadless adapter, and crank brothers candy sl pedals.

i'd like to get a silver crankset and stem as well as white bar tape but that crap is gonna have to wait until my finances recover some from the road bike i'm currently building.

here's the latest pic.

I think that's the last good looking Fuji Track that they ever made.

That's a 2003 frame. I just a used one on eBay for a little over $200. I paid too much, but it's hard to find bikes in my size (49cm) and I liked the colors. If the frame you're talking about is in good condition, I'd think it was worth between $175 and $200.

i already bought it from my friend for $300, the complete bike. btw, i'm pretty sure it's a 2001.

just finished putting on some gator skins, my first ever tire change. it went pretty slow but i finally got it done. one quirky thing, though. the tires are directional and have an arrow indicating which direction they should rotate. however, the tire labels/branding are reversed from one another. i decided to keep the direction going the proper way and have the mismatched labels on each side. anyone else ever run into that?

I think that I really liked the blue one that had the crowned fork.

On a side note I lived next to this crazy ex messenger guy that I think was dealing with the messenger version of post traumatic stress syndrome that tried to sell me one of those yellow and red fuji tracks that he had just thrashed and rewelded the chainstays and trackends back on numerous times.
