Your Opinions on a Bike, not a newbie
I've been riding my Schwinn Circuit conversion for quite awhile now and putting lots of miles on it and I've felt like the road bike geometry(same as Schwinn Paramount) is better suited for the road where I ride, but ever since I was introduced to the Velodrome here I've been considering track bikes and I know many of you prefer them to conversions.

Right now, I'm looking into this. It's obviously highly adaptable as it's set for the street, but it's pretty aggressive at the same time. I see Leader selling frames for around $300 on Ebay and it looks like they've sold quite a few of them as they list their sales on the site.
The guy seems cool and b/c it's in Miami I can check it out in person and skip the shipping. It's definitely a hot bike, anyone else bidding on it / looking at it / have opinions on it.
I'm not going to be at the Velodrome daily, but definitely weekly.

So, it seems like no one must have much input on Leader, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since there's countless negative reviews of bike manufacturers on this forum.
What do you think of the buildup then(with the extras)? Or, what do you think it will sell for...short auction?

Judging from the cable guides and derailleur hanger, I'd say that is a tri frame and not a track frame.
Leader does make a track frame, but it that isn't one of them. You can find them under other names, like Tsunami or possibly Fetish (that one is debatable).

I see Alexrims and my intuition is to start running. I had a pair of those on my first conversion and after three months of use it looked like they had started to pull apart. Also, the no-name crankset is something I'd probably look to upgrade if I was hitting the track often.

Track frame, schrack frame. Whenever you aren't riding your bike on a track in a track race, you are always riding a road bike. Unless you maybe break into the track and ride around in circles when everyone's gone. Aggressive is for grindcore, not for bicycles that you're not riding in a race. I'll bet your bike is at least 15% better than this bike.

And the minute you ride it offroad, it's a mountain bike or a cross bike (depending on the bars). If you take it to a skate park, it's a BMX bike. Magic!

That frame has a lot of potential.
I wouldn't buy the whole bike unless you suck at mechanics.

i like that the seller has picked up on the bikesnobnyc "fixed gear freestyler" term. that's some internet-savvy business right there.

ebay does that *** so it doesn't show people's usernames to stop spam. sniping is bidding in the last n seconds of an auction, either by a program or manually. if you are actually going to be on a track, might as well get a track frame instead of a tt/tri frame...
