Rim / Wheel choice for singlespeed

I am putting together a singlespeed for the winter here in Ottawa. I just ordered a pair of Nokian W106s and was wondering if anyone is running them on their fixie or singlespeed. If so does anyone have a good recommendation for a rim or wheelset. I wanted to use the cheap wheels that came with my road bike but I think they are a little small at 622x14. Any thoughts on a cheap set of rims and or wheels.

I am planning on getting the eno hub to convert to a fixie but don't have the money right now.

Thanks in advance!

For starters, do an ebay search for fixed gear wheel. You'll find tons of new 32-36 spoke wheels with formula hubs built with a variety of good rims for great prices. A freewheel will work with either a singlespeed or fixed gear hub.
