Trackstand -> Falling into construction ditch

Embaressing as hell, but too funny not to tell. 5 minutes ago I was trackstanding at a red light, when I lost control, couldn't get either of my feet out, and fell into a construction ditch on the side of the road at about 1 mph.

It was raining too. Wth?

It was maybe 4 feet deep, but the orange netting stuff caught most of my fall. There was a guy on the sidewalk that asked if I was alright though.

At least you fell into a harmless ditch (yes?) and not one filled with pointy pieces of metal and other implements of industrial death.

Was the ditch all muddy? That would add another comic element that's not really needed, but it's always nice to have more elements.

"Holy crap rebar" and "but is was okay" are two phrases I never thought I would hear together.

Next time you tell that story include the orange netting stuff in the original account. It's always funny when people fall on or crash into that stuff.

So long as you climbed out and shouted "YES!" you should be cool

When the guy asked if you were okay, you should have said "yeah, why?" and acted like nothing had happened. Then continue to attempt track standing again.
