Langster -vs- Langster Comp

Hello everyone. I'm a noob here. Figured I'd start off saying hey.

I have read everywhere the popular concensus on the Specialized Langster (i.e., their owners like them but most others just pass it off as a "late to the game wannabe fixie with ugly stickers, less than desireable sloped top tube and no cool-points/street cred in the SS/FG world") but does that follow through on the Langster Comp? Different/better geometry frame. Better component package. Surely a better bike to start with. I've searched this subject forever now with no luck so I finally decided to ask My Comp should be in Friday and I have a Thomson stem, truVativ carbon bar and will probably run a different saddle. I too must confess I dislike the decals so I'll probably run it naked with a Porsche crest headtube decal for fun.

I like the Comp a lot. If my budget were there, that bike would be in the running for sure.

I do appreciate that. I just never really thought about it until I started looking for reviews prior to purchasing it... just doing some homework. I'm sure I'll love it. I guess I was more curious than anything.

I think I would too haha. I got this Comp at a killer price so i couldnt refuse. I was tossing up the Surly Steamroller, Bianchi Pista (not Concept unfortunately) and a couple other new entry level track bikes and settled on this one at the right price.
