Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Looking for some big italian steel. Negotiating a 61cm pinarello as we speak, but I'm open to other options. Obviously 60+ though. I've had a long run on 'too small' frames.

Oh, i saw it. I suppose I'll take my chances since it's anchored in there far enough. I am looking for more excuses to get a bigger frame, though.

While your quoting that Soma, someone please tell him to turn his f*u*king handbreak around. It just ruins the set up. Its so distracting.

The least that guy could do is buy one of these

I mean, it really does look about as stupid, if not a little worse. But at least it would work, but maybe not for 'normal braking.'

The least that guy could do is turn his lever right-side-up. Jesus Christ...

Or attach a brake cable to it.

Edit: or have a brake attached to his fork.

you honestly think i can't stop? i don't get it, really i don't. i don't like skidding because i can't afford to change out tires every month, and i ride in a packed city all day long, i promise you all that i can stop just fine. i'm a tall kid with big hands, the lever works. if it looks ugly, fine, whatever. it's what works for me

i just don't think it's worth 2 pages of banter over, and i REALLY don't think that ****ing lever is the answer
