elTwitcho, my bike might not make any sense to you, but i can assure you that it's nimble & fast as a steel framed bike can be. before bringing yourself down (like i have unknowingly have) in a forum like this, you should consider why so many people are riding track bikes & parts in cities (like mine). they are squirrelly, light & fast. track frames seemingly are ideal for dicing through traffic. my bike is my own version of a hybrid (track & road). i love it & it suits me very well.
if you ever come down to NYC you should PM me and we'll go out for a jaunt through the city streets so you can see just how foolish all of this talk is. by the way, i'm also a photographer.

vvv The majority of my riding is in stop and go traffic where accelaration > top speed, and a lower gear ratio also forces me to spin faster on descents, which is actually a useful skill in cycling.

Though my new bike was made by children in Taiwan, and has a gear ration designed to go slow, al least my road bars a fully covered!

your iro has absolutely nothing to do with serious cycling. it's a commuter bike at best. and by the way homie, lower gear ratio does not make you accelerate faster.

And yeah, your grip setup and gear ratio is the worst setup you could have for actually riding quickly. With a taller gear you need more torque to get going, and there is no worse hand position for leveraging down on the pedals than putting them close together near your stem like you do.
haha.
won't comment about jabbas bike.

yeah it's true, this bike is much better than that other bike. I am happy that it was made on an assembly line, & pieced together by children, rather than made by a recognized frame builder in Japan. Also, i agree that Campagnolo is inferior to the parts on the IRO.

Yeah, the wheelset is pretty cheap, but they're also strong, hand-built, and stay true.
Full list is in my velospace, most of it is decent(ly expensive) stuff.

Thanks! I'm pretty pleased with it myself. Mind you, All the really good goodies (hubs, rims) I had to import from the good old USA. You guys are spoiled when it comes to the availability of high-end single speed parts!

Standover height is not a valid measure of bike fit.
For serious, I neither like aluminum nor pursuit frames but that bike is pretty slick. Is the front wheel a 650?

I deleted the off topic posts. Don't come running to me if your mutually troll-inclined antics fail and backfire on you. Let's just stay on topic and stop ripping on other people's bikes.

I came running to you because my posts were being deleted but his were not, even though they were equally if not more inflammatory and off-topic. This is the single-speed forum, there's no room for double-standards.
