Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

but then it wouldn't be a funny reference to the other slogan: "death before dishonor".

Hot damn another one! Can my Pog be friends with your Pog?

Seriously though I have almost no info on my bike but it seems to have the same details as yours. The lugs, fork crown, seat stay caps all look identical from the shots (check velospace for the shots). However the serial # and rest of the details were all lost when the guy I bought it from had it powdercoated. The only thing I know is that it was built sometime in the 80's. Do you know what model, tubing, ends, lugs, and year that frame is?

Goddamned that's a pretty bike and I love my Pogliaghi to absolute death. Brings a smile to my face every time I see it (much less ride it). Congrats and ride in good health.

inexpensive windsor that's mostly stock. sugino rd crank (because i couldn't afford anything better), ritchey biocomp road bars. but i want to go with something more narrow.
saving money for a wheel set, saddle and new stem. sadly this might take a while. i'll start with the wheel set.
