Thanks for the comments everyone! As for the top tube Zephyr, it definately gives me a little more standover room. Past that, I can't really say I've thought much about it. I really am enjoying this bike more than any other mountain bike I have ever had.

Derek, your biker gang is awesome.

Does anyone have experience with the Bianchi SISS and what a fair price is? A guy I ride with has one for sale, in great shape, and is waiting to see if I bite. He said it was Dedacciai 853 steel...what is that? My first thought is that it's Reynolds 853 and that Dedacciai is some sort of other steel used on the fork or something.

Take care,
Kevin

I used to have an instigator myself (until i upgraded to the Karate Monkey, see the previous page for the photo). It's the "Junk Saver" top tube and if you're rocking a really tall suspension fork it opens up alot of standover (or at least "some" standover). It's a super beefy frame, I'd still be on mine had it not been for the 29er wheels calling my name

I wanna say they're profile design.. definitely not the mavics. He got them from a LBS for 5 bucks off some bike they had in the back heheh. They are the hotness, for sure.

Thanks! The stem is an old road stem that was in a spare parts bin at the LBS. It was gloss black, and scratched up. I sanded it, hit it with krylon ultra flat black, and then baked it over the woodstove overnight. It came out awesome! I put alloy fuji risers, grey oury's, and my serfas aria ti saddle on there, and i think it's sweeeet!

My beater s/s. Nothing special. Old steel MTB given to me, front rim is an old mavic with a continental slick, salsa canti stem with old cantis. Rear brake are v-brake from discount bin. Junk bin Shimano 105 cranks, $10 mtb pedals, rear wheel is an old sun rim, both with old xt hubs, drops from old old frame on a front lawn. Set at 42/15 right now. Rides like a dream.

you dont even know.. the holdworth did fall off the railing.. stupidly i just had to catch it, which let it swing back into the deck.. so nnow its got a lil ding in the top to match the one it came with.. oddly i wasnt that upset.. its not my fancy bike

the worst part about it is its still a ****ty picture.. i could have just leaned it against a wall

The Tees is pretty sick. I really want to retrofit an old road frame with some of the Paul ends. How do you like the adjusters? Pretty easy to use?

sloppy robot...your bikes are anything but sloppy. not many holdsworth owners would be so laid back about putting a dent in their top tube! what kinda frame is that first bike?
