I have this ^^^ (just measly Ultegra, but still). Awesome frame, horrid paint, and deserves whatever abuse I dole out to it. I never, ever type in all caps, but here goes-- IT'S JUST A BICYCLE. MADE BY SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE. IT IS NOT A MAGIC TOTEM! FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST STOP FETISHIZING SH*T OR I'M GOING TO PUT A GOD DANG COASTER BRAKE AND BUM BARS ON MY COLNAGO AND RIDE OVER TO YOUR HOUSE AND MAKE YOU LOOK AT IT.
Thank you.

I'm all for conversions, but **** I gotta agree with evanyc. I think that Colnago conversion is straight up a shame. Even if its not a "nice" colnago, outfit it with Campy Chorus and have a sweet road bike.
Someone please braze a derailleur hanger onto a "not so nice" Colnago Pista, drill it for brakes, and turn it into a road bike so we can hear you guys crying bloody murder.
edit: damn, late to the party again.

An adjustable stem makes riding my fixed gear bike so much more comfortable. I'm surprised I don't see more of them on bikes posted here.

i wish....i just wish it were just a lil' more pimpish. like if i were to give it away to a poor person. cause i like poor people and everything but sometimes i just look at them and think to myself "god, are you ever poor. and because of it, you have bad taste in bikes. i should give you mine"
but then i realize that poor people are hella lazy and stupid.
i love iro's and i have no idea why everyone who has one builds it up to be absolutely hideous. never mind how nice your components are, i'm talking purely about aesthetics.
and i am pumped because HERE IS A DUDE WHO GETS IT! pretty much the only iro someone has posted in recent memory that wasn't gross.
