OK, I new posting a color change would do that. If I get sick of it years from now, and the word If is still in the sentence, then I will paint it. Besides, I'll end up with another fixed before them I'm sure, and therefore no need to update the AERO. So relax [I]orangina[/] fans, it's going to be rocked for some time, but you do have to admit that if the same frame was black it would look pretty nice. Thanks for all the comments everyone. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a ride to go on...

This is my soma rush. I've since ditched the ergo drops for some nitto bullhorns (which feel rad, btw), but I don't have a pic of them yet, because I am lazy. The interesting parts aside from the frame and fork are: rear surly hub laced to a mavic ma3 and sugino 75 cranks, the rest is a grab bag of what I could afford and/or had on hand (thank you QBP/LBS parts bin!). Props to this forum in general for the education while I was deciding on stuff.

Ya know, I've been thinking the same lately. Maybe the next time I repaint my bike it'll be white. Actually, the next time I repaint I think it'll be powder coated and I'll stop screwing around. Still, maybe it'll be white.

Finally finished my bike's build. Here's the pic!

used to have a centurion frame, but now it's an IRO. Mavic 3A rims, Brooks B17, Bulletproof crank.
40/16

I love it. Gotta chop down the seatpost some more, and tweak the chainline (kinda noisy) but its finally done. Now to start on my schwinn collegiate 26incher.

I'VE got a Schwinn Collegiate. Love it, it's the three speed that I've got tricked out for grocery grabbing: Wald dual folding baskets in rear, lights and of course, a squirrel bell (pics to come). What will you do to realize the project? What are your plans? Good luck! sounds like a fun one.

post a picture of it! I'm going to switch it over to a singlespeed (I have a BMX freewheel), upgrade it to brand new 26 inch wheels (hope they'll fit), strip the paint down, paint it hunter green, redo the logos, slap a brooks flyer seat and leather touring bag, get some nitto dove handlebars with clear green classic grips, and give it to my girlfriend to ride.

The good old days when my ride looked a million bucks.

4 cities, and years later, its looking spectacular, but faster than ever.

Some old Sydney trackie raced on it before me. Nice bits and pieces, camp, cinelli, superb.

Bring a tear to my eye.

I wouldn't call it a poor excuse of a ss at all, it looks great. Where do you ride in Spokane? I lived there for a while and rode my ss up and down Mini a lot, out at Riverside, and on the woops that parallel the train tracks south of town (can't remember the name). From the looks of your bike I'd say you're spending some time urban riding or on the Beacon Hill downhill runs. Anyways... great ride.
