Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Maybe I'm just searching for the wrong thing. I've been searching for "San Marco Sette Zero" and only seen a few European shops selling it. Amazon has it though, that's where I got it:

Interesting. Does it flex bad enough to rub during sprints?

Brooks honey tape. This bike was posted last yr in thread, but I gave it a few overhauls, and some new make up, thought she was worth another shot.

No, that's cool, didn't think so.

It's just funny how sometimes the little trendoid hipsters seem to think they own something that was created over a hundred tears ago (fixed culture), and have so little to do with their lives that they need to tell other fixed riders what's wrong with their bikes....I'm 40 years old, so I just laugh.

Cheers!

and GO GIANTS!!!!

Hey! I've been keeping my eye on this ^^^ on velospace. It has the exact wheelset I'm trying to build up (well, if I can find the rims in 28h, then that will be the only difference). I've got the same old school cinelli bolt top stem that you have too (not in these pictures though). When I get the wheels, you're falcon will have a red italian little sister.

...maybe I should post a photo.
