I'm starting to get real jealous of that Gipiemmie wheel. Lucky find.

Yea, Scrambler's aren't attractive bikes. It's fun to ride with 42x17 though. Sadly I can't barspin 700x25, I should get a headset spacer =P. All in all I have been very impressed by the ride quality of it for a $100 frameset. If I have time on Saturday I'm going to rebuild the Samson and I will post new pictures of that.

Here's my more-often ridden fixed; I'm not 100% sure what the frame is, but its an old touring model with an aftermarket chrome job and all of the braze-ons shaved. Please forgive the bar taping job.

I fit people for non injurous cycling. Riding a bike is an activity of repetition and insuring someone does not case undue wear or injury is my first priority. Okay a Brooks small tilt back being the exception.
many racers ride their saddles tip up. very common and fit correct.

he said "i sold my bridgestone to fund a bob jackson."
he didn't say he sold just a frame and fork or a whole bike.
also, bridgestone makes nice frames other than track frames so he very well could've sold something besides a track frame or bike to help fund a new frame.
also, bob jacksons really aren't too costly...especially with the dollar and gbp where they are right now.

I bought a Surly Steamroller in my size with the intention to rob all the parts off it for my girlfriends Kilo TT bikeisland frameset bike build and figured I'd use the frameset or sell it off. Well, I tossed some stuff together and I think I'll keep it. I usually ride an aluminum Langster Comp with 700x23's and going to the steel frameset and 25's is like upgrading from a Nissan to a Cadillac. I'm sure I'll love it for around town. Just wanted to share:

Not bad for doctored iPhone pics...

that's the kind of lipstick on a pig that I approve of. could be prettier with a classy black post, but very nice.
