i don't think there is an 08 pista concept. if i remember right, it's been replaced by "pista aluminum" or something.

https://www.glorycycles.com/bipicofr20.html

Glory Cycles says they're getting 2008 models. I spoke with someone over e-mail who confirmed it. She also confirmed the color is still white.

But she couldn't tell me when it might come in.. so I'm playing it "safe" and not relying on them to ever get any in stock. YMMV.

That coupled with the crappy Yahoo page and the (un)availability of Concepts in 2008 makes me kind of weary... especially since they can't even tell me when they'll have them in.

I really wanted a concept, but alas.. so I could have spent less on a crappy level frame, but I decided, "ah... what the hell... I'll spend a bit more and get a frame in the $700-1000 range!" hah.

I think they did a great job using MSPaint. It lets the mind think of what components to use.

They don't mention the 2008, but I'd contact or keep an eye on Bikyle. They always had a ton of Concepts every year.

Yeah man, i hear you. I love the concept, and i might try to get one still at some point. I've also given though to trying to nail down a peugeot track frame, so we'll see what happens.

Yea definitely email the guys at bikyle.com, they are still supposed to get some 07's in but the whole shipment hasn't arrived yet, they were putting people on the backorder list. I know that I put my name on it and ended up getting a concept off craigslist, so I'm sure a bunch of other people who were on the list no longer want one.

Bikyle has a LOT of frames that i want...

the more i go to that page the more i kinda want that Van Dessel Dragstrip Courage

those cane creek carbon tubulars are pretty damned amazing as well. i could be wrong, but i was under the impression that its the volos hub paired with zipp 404 rims. i think Yoshi has his eye on a pair.

yah i called these guys yesterday as well as 20 other bianchi dealers in the USA and none of them had any 2007s available, most said that they would be getting 2008s in a month or two but i also hear bianchi wont be selling it as a complete bike just as a redesigned frameset some stores say that bianchi isnt making anymore pista concepts all together so im really not sure who to beleive but i looked around and found this https://www.bianchi.com/en/products20...mes_X8B12.aspx i think this its gonna replacing the concept its called the Pista ALU

I think one of the reasons why the 2007 was so popular is because the white/black scheme was/is so popular...

the concept ALU is butt ugly. Nothx.
