Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Denton TX New Year's ride?

Yes, I know there's a subforum for this, but it's a ghost town. Let me have this for the next 24 hours...

Anyone in Denton want to ride/drink beer/etc New Year's eve? Everyone I know here, including my girlfriend, is out of town.

I would maybe consider a new years day ride, but I've got previous eve plans. I'm in North Dallas, and just finished my 5 month new bike build, I've only been able to ride it on the white rock path thus far.

Actually www.fixedfortworth.org is a better North Texas cycling forum. Mainly fixed oriented, all are welcome though. We even have a last minute ride forum.
