Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Anyone going to beat me to next year?
Maybe Deathhare, but hopefully he's got a life and isn't online right now.

Apes: "He can talk. He can talk? He can talk!!"
Troy McClure: "I can sing!!!!"

I love legitimate theatre.

No future yet for me. Paid a lot for some Duvel already though. Hung out with good people. Let off a kham loy (flaming roll of toilet paper tied to the bottom of a paper balloon). There are thousands in the sky right now. Really beautiful.

Hopefully the future will have a new frame in it for me. The tracking code says it's in the international processing center in Melbourne. It looks like the middle of next week.

My resolution is to drink more and make more friends. (it's actually a problem for me right now)

exactly. Its awesome. You are supposed to send up all the evil spirits around you. All the things that you don't like about yourself. The kham loy carries them away.

Gluing tubbies for the Rossin today (getting ready for the track) and crocking some kraut for tomorrow. I saw that drama, you two kiss and make up before I start in with the photoshoping

I'll be ready for the track when I get back (they probably won't let me race though). I've got a Daccordi track frame coming from Fyxomatosis. Yeah, I'm going aluminum. But I'm tired of the problems I've been having with steel in this climate. I'll probably end up getting something steel when I get back.

Damn! it's insane here.
Think if everyone in the city had access to the same kinds of fireworks that you'd normally see only in the profesional shows. Thats what I"m looking at out my window.

So many kham loy in the sky. They let most of them off from a few places in the city. A string of them go up then the wind catches them and pushes them across the city. It's like standing under an archway 2000 feet high.
