I sold my Sugino 75 cranks, a 49t chainring, and a Sugino 75 BB for $200 a few months ago. I guess prices of these items just keep on climbing.

yeah, when i picked up my first set of sugino 75s from aebike, they were still $157 with ring. then they went to around 175 and are now 200+. sugino has been steadily raising their prices.

More likely it's that the dollar has been steadily tanking and they are prices from the factory in yen. With the popularity of them replacement stock will be higher priced.

they are about $150-200 new in Japan. a decent ring is $40-50.
but on Yahoo Auctions they'll sometimes hit $150-160. people pay what the moment makes them
