Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Post Your Chainline

I really like a hot, sexy chainline. I want to see yours. Maybe I'll make a collage or something stupid like that.

Is that a knog light as a hub cleaner? Does it work well as light placement?

Yeah, it is. It's more for looks at night than anything. Also, I'm always street legal, even if I forget my other lights.

I don't care, I just want to look at it.

No, but the "sexy chainline" picture is a lame cliche spawned by that site, and preferably left there.

a chain-line can be off a few mm and still look dead straight in a pic, so you are getting all lathered up over bikes that may or may not be that well set up.

Actually, I don't give a **** about perfectly straight chainlines.

I like the angle.
I think it's cool looking.
It's not something you normally really look at on a bike.
It makes your bike go.
Shut up.

I think a pic from the back, looking along the top of the chain (like my image is in the first post) would be cool with this. Can I see?

And it seems that people have made some funny assumptions about me wanting pictures of chainlines. I just want to see your bikes from a different angle. Thanks to those who've posted.

I agree. Get some slack.

This is as close as I have to a chainline photo. From back when the Klein was in epic fail horrible part mode.
