Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

you really expect someone who posts stuff to FGG to know what a coaster brake is?

I like that bike. Someone has obviously loved it enough to ride the crap out of it. But no, its not a fixed gear bike and it should not be in a fixed gear gallery. It should be in the ugly bike thread

I know fixedgeargallery has a rule about bikes posted there being bona fide fixed gears, but I didn't know that it was our job to enforce it.

worst thread of all eternity.
at least search function-less threads end in huge, all-out, and exciting flame-wars.

My bike can beat up your bike

Yeah but for that to be ironic, it would have to be a fixed gear.
