Going to Miami Feb 8-11 for Anti-Sweatshop conference

I'm going to be in Miami for the United Students Against Sweatshops conference this upcoming weekend (Feb 8,9,10), and I need some people to chill with at night. I've also been told that the Everglades are pretty damn amazing, and would love to take a (bike?) trip out to see them. Anybody in that area? I also was looking for a place to stay Sunday night because I only have housing Friday and Saturday night. I'll just have myself and a bag o clothes, and I could buy you some beer or whatever for your trouble. I fly out Monday morning.
Thanks.

Might want to be a little more specific about where you need to be, Miami is physically about the size of all 5 boroughs of NYC and way harder to get around without a car.

Ah, sorry. I'll be conferencing at the University of Miami.

I have a friend that used to work at the Everglades Hostel. I camped there a few times. It is a pretty hippie place, but they have all kinds of tours and rentals that go from the hostel depending on what you are interested in. I have done some of the backcountry swamp camping and tours and it is amazing country. Definitely go prepared if you plan on doing anything because it can be unforgiving.

Thanks for the info. I might check this out.
