Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I think people are going to tell you to not skimp on drivetrain parts. Rocket chainrings are cheap but from what I hear, they're s***.

Don't skimp on drivetrain components. But also, overkill is dumb.

From what I've heard, FSA track chain rings are good.

Only 144 rings I've ever heard complaints about are rockets, which are pretty hard to find in that size anyway.

FSA rings are reasonably priced and totally excellent to use. Nothing but good things to say about them.

I've had a FSA on my whip for over a without any problems. The teeth still look good even though I snapped a chain in half while riding.

LooseScrews had a bunch of those a while back, I've got two of them.
