Post pics of yer bikes w/anodized cranks!
I'm pretty into the idea of colorful cranks and have been thinking about getting some for a while. But I am surprised by how infrequently I actually see them in the wild, mounted on bikes. I'd be into seeing pictures of a variety of different bike frame colors and cranks colors. Cheers!

The colored 75s look so much nicer. The RDs just come out looking cheaper with the anodization.
There's a guy in Columbus with the gold 75s, and they look quite classy.

welp, i was hoping for a few more than two... oh well. I know in Portland people spend a lot of money on fairly superfluous items which make their bikes look more awesome, and I am not against that at all. How come these people don't seem to be into anodized cranks? There just don't seem to be that many out there... am I wrong? Is it too hard to match up frame/crank/deep v colors, or do the anodized colors not look that great in person? Maybe a nice pair of silver cranks is just too hard to beat.

I like the idea of anodized cranks (I saw the green sugino ones at ben's and they look pretty killer) but they just seem like the color would scratch/rub off quickly and then they'd look terrible.

True, most aluminum alloy products are anodized to prevent corrosion, although I think in this context "anodized" is used to refer to aluminum that has been colored through the anodizing process. So yes, I guess it is somewhat redundant.
