I ran this set up on my Steamroller for the longest time using the Nitto Dirt Drop stem with Nitto moustache bars.

It isn't the cool thing to put on a tarck bike but paired with drops on a bike that will see dirt I think they look pretty badass.

You need drops up high off-road. Like, hoods level with the seat.

i cant decide if it would be too high up with risers or a flatbar.

flat bars

i had this set-up over the winter on a track bike, for commuting/barbike/trails and it was super comfortable. i miss it.
