I just got some super dope shoes for riding

Check these baddies out:
https://www.pumafootball.com/pindex.jsp
It's the v1.08 trainer
They are really well fitting, they fit my pedals/toe-clips really well and the sole is way less flexy than anything else I've ever ridden in. + mesh for ventalation = I'm stoked. They are so comfortable on the pedals. I'm so happy.

They are going to get dirty so fast...

Looks cool. Did you get the red/white or black/gray? I've been thinking about some better ventilated shoes for the warm season.

they match your deep v's, oh boy.

while i'm sure they're nice, they're also a bit pricey/fancy looking for my taste. i think i'm just gonna buy some sambas for my next shoes.

Holy ****ing hell!!! Enough with the stupid goddamn "what sneakers I'm wearing" threads. I thought I had moved beyond this when I passed the seventh grade and dudes couldn't automatically get dates anymore just because they had the new Jordans. I get it. You paid too much for some "retro" slipper shoes that are ugly and look stupid with your boot-cut denim AND your girl-taper denim. I hope you are being cute by saying they match your deep V's, but I fear that you are being serious.

Can someone please start a thread about some clipless carbon soled shoes already? Enough of this stupid sneaker talk. What is the link to the b-ball forum?

Whoa. Dudes on a tirade against slipper shoes.

Hey, I have some advice. Chill out about what other people do. It'll lower your blood pressure.

is the tirade about "slipper shoes" or "sneakers"
I couldnt figure it out, he seems to have similar distain for both. I have a pair of slip ON's, but they are definately not slippers, no plaid or fleece or anything like that, and as far as "sneakers" go, I'm not one to sneak on a regular basis, so none of my shoes have been initiated in that act. no "sneakers" for me.

Dude, it's ssfg, I'm pretty sure hte majority of us ride in regular shoes that both look good and feel comfortable riding in... it's like discussing clipless carbon except since most probably use clips, it's tennis shoes that get talked about. Chill out. People like nice shoes. Get over it. Go ride a bike.

Hm, those don't look like they'd work really well? The soles aren't flat...

the lumps on the sole line up well with my pedal/clip setup. The honeycomb stuff is much stiffer than I expected. The sole is great for me.
