Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I've been wanting to do this for a while now...

Hi guys,

I've got one for the "u-lock justice" crowd:

"24 oz pop bottle full of pennies."

Discuss.

Thanks

what an even cooler way to attract attention to yourself and most likely get arrested!
hooray for cyclists everywhere!

furthermore, if i ever met someone who carried around a bottle full of pennies in his/her bag in hopes of a confrontation with a driver, i think i'd have to punch him/her in the face immediately upon hearing such news.

edit: that is also quite the waste of money....man this thread should just get closed right now.

At first glance I thought your location was your Ego castle.

That's too thought out. U-lock justice is justice, this is looking for trouble and you may end up on the receiving end of someone else's form of justice.

If you wanted to have that much weight, why not get a 12 or 16 inch led pipe? Or a large monkey wrench. I used to carry either or when I walked around rough neighbourhoods. Just in case.

Instant justice will get you killed or locked up forever. Run away and live with ego intact. Don't believe the movies.

Dickheads and a**holes are everywhere; when two of them meet there will be trouble. Make sure that you are not one of them.

how much $$ in pennies would fit inside a 24oz bottle anyway?

why not use that to buy a beer for you and a friend instead? just my thought. it may be stupid.

at least the change in the bottle might serve as an initial payment for whatever damage you did to their vehicle/person.
