OT: wow, TILT...

i just poured myself a can of tilt, which i sometimes drink because it's a higher percentage than sparks. i never pour it out, but i had some whiskey nearby and was going to make a whiskey sour of sorts, and mixed them. the tilt is a green color that makes me feel like i'll be turning into the hulk or some sort of mutant soon. so gross and so....cool!

Try pouring a Rockstar or Monster into a glass. The smell alone ruins the flavor

I couldn't imagine a TILT or Sparks.

Joose>Tilt

If you're going to go gross, you might as well go all the way.

Charles Bronson rules. Both the band and the actor. Death Wish 4 FTW!!!!!!! Dude's face looks like a catcher's mit with a mustache.

Reminds me of the time I went into the 7-11 to snag a bottle of Mt. Dew.

I'm standing in line to pay for it and some woman, a complete stranger, starts talking to me like I'm one of her idiot children... "Oh! I don't know how you can drink that stuff... It's nothing but chemicals and artificial colors"

So I looked at her, then at the bottle in my hand, then back to her, and replied "I sure as hell hope so, I'd hate to think it was this color naturally"

I didn't hear another thing from her after that...

Never had TILT, but at 8 percent, it doesn't seem like such a bad deal. So does it just taste like Sparks or what?

Ahh **** it, if I wanted to mix caffeine and alcohol I'd probably just keep it classy with a Spanish Coffee actually...

When I was in Portland we stopped at a Bodega for booze and I bought the three worst looking things I could see. 1 sparks, 1 tilt, 1 joose. I never drank the joose, I just couldn't do it. I left it in the fridge of the place I crashed at. I'll just stick to steel reserve. It's horrible, but at least I don't end up twitchy and drunk at the same time, what an awful feeling.

Yeah. Alcohol and caffeine make we feel really weird. I know its a cliche hipster thing, but I'm a fan of cheap beer (PBR, Hamms) if you're trying to get smashed (assuming we're excluding hard alcohol and wine from this discussion), and nicer beer (Newcastle, Black Butte, Fat Tire) for times when you'll actually remember the taste.

Tilt and Sparks are the kind of things I end up drinking when I can't really taste much anymore and don't really know what I'm doing.

But yeah, drinking the ecquivalent to a cup of coffee or two of caffeine while also consuming alcohol, not too bad. Completely OD'ing on caffeine like you would if you have any sort of real alcohol tolerance (yay college!) and you've been drinking Tilt exclusively the whole night with the aim of getting trashed... not so nice.
