zion 29er

got a green zion 29er with an EBB for for about 80 bucks.

anyone have experience with them? was it a waste of 80 bucks?

i plan on building it with all my spare parts (all i really need to buy are wheels and tires). i'll have my own opinion (and pics) when it's done, but does anyone have any 'i told you so' stories before i start?

I ride here in Colorado with a guy who runs his Zion rigid SS and loves it more than his other rides. We beat our bikes to death. It looks good to me.

They always had good reviews. And they were always pretty cheap. I think for a while they were making one out of 853 and selling it for $250 or something. They sold out super fast. I say count yourself lucky as long as the EBB stays functional. I always wondered about those things.
