so im new to the cycling scene in general. my brother was a cat 1 racer for a few years before he joined the Marine corps so im not new to bikes just new to road/fixies. i need a bike to get around town to school and work and such but im working on a budget. I will be upgrading alot and will probably just end up with the frame.

what i need to know wich frame i will be most happy with over time the kill or the hour. The compenents that come on them matter but im more worried about the long run, i would just buy a frame a build a bike but i need it asap so thats not an option.

again sorry for bringing this up again i know its annoying but i have searched and have read a ton of reviews so i figured the last thing is to just ask about the frames.

all in all just which one will i be happier with for the long hual these are kinda my only option cause i want a fixie but i cannot drop a ton off the bat, and a new bike is a plus over buying used

maybe i'll say something of use based on personal experiance.
regardless of what a million people on this board think,
i bought the Hour because all i wanted was the frame and fork, and i hate flat crowned forks.
the frame was great. i sold the rest of the parts and pretty much got the frame for free.
kept the bottom bracket and cranks.
welds are good, decently light, and its alot more 'trackish' than my converted LeTour.
get whichever you want, there's not THAT much difference between the two frames besides the difference in forks.
if you're going from a crappy conversion either are going to be worlds better, frame wise.

Who on earth hates flat-crowned forks? WTF?

Between the Kilo and the Hour, go for the Kilo. But if you're looking for a bike to get around town, then get the Motobecane Messenger. It's a better value than both, is more practical for average riders, and the new colors look pretty good.

i'd buy the hour, i think the frame looks like its put together better even if it lacks the styling of the kilo

hahahaha the fork doesnt matter i have a carbon for sitting at my house waiting to be put on and its not flat-crowned but its super aero

from someone who's actually owned both the Hour and Kilo, i say go for the Kilo.
