Cooper Bikes
well like i said earlier im just getting into this but my brother used to be a cat 1 racer but now he is in the marine corps and over in iraq right now
well along time ago my brother built a bike and now it hangs in my room i wish i could ride it but i think there is something special about it.
its a fixie but i think he was building it for tracking riding seeing as it has tubular rims
well the frame is what im intrested in. its simply a sunset orange colour and just says cooper on the side. the head badge is just a C inside a diamond. i just would like to know the history of this bike and who made it and how much it is worth.

1) the seat stays are nuts.
2) the brake lever is also nuts, but not in a good way.
3) i hope you're not planning to sell yr brother's bike out from under him...
4) if you do, what size is the frame?
5) this is who made it.
ps, this lugwork is spectacular:

The frame was made by Ron Cooper link. It is a very nice frame, and I would bet that your brother would probably smack you up side the head for looking at it.

step 1: get homeowner's insurance
step 2: sell me that bike's componentry
step 3: file a report stating that your home was robbed

my guess, your brother was getting in on the streetfix scene. Phils on the track don't make sense if you are a cat1, neither does a drilled fork.

But neither does the street-fix scene, if you're a Cat 1.
Really though, there's nothing wrong with racing on Phil Wood hubs, and since he went with cartridge bearings and a drilled fork, he likely planned on using the bike for road training as well as track duties.
