Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Brooks B-15 in my shop parts bin.

Called dibbs as we were cleaning out the bins in the back. So pumped nobody was paying attention. It's a B-15. Anybody know when they stopped producing this bish?

No cracks other than one next to one stud. All needs to be polished and treated and such but I'm pumped. I've heard some people using dremels and toothbrushes?to polish but anybody got other ideas?

I'd just oil it and leave it nice and old looking.

Proofide both sides, and use any hand towel. Install the saddle and use the towel like a shoe shine kid and polish away.

You should check with the C&V forum for Brooks history and care tips. Those guys are the pros.

Let us know anything you find out. I still have the original B15 on the Raleigh my dad bought new in the early 70s. It's in worse shape than that one, though.
