Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

fuji ace frame

anyone had it? this one in particular. a guy here builds em and sells them pretty cheap and there is one in stock i am thinking about buying, or maybe just building a different conversion. it was a little heavier than i hope for, but it was pretty fast and the height was right.http://www.jiinjoo.com/modules/album...%20Ace%201.JPG

That frame looks like it has vertical dropouts, I think your money is better spent on a different frame and a conversion, or even a basic fg complete. What is he asking for it as a conversion?

I have had a fuji ace for a number of years now. It is built up as a road bike. And yes it is on the heavy side but i still like it. I have done a lot of serious road riding on it and have had not complaints.

Is this the Fuji Ace that is aluminum and uses Altaire (sp) tubing?
