Brake Levers - White Hoods

Does anyone know of any place to find some brake levers with white hoods? (If I don't see any KKK pictures by the third post, I'll be disappointed with all of you.)

I've been searching around for months but could never find anything other than used yellowed-out stuff on eBay. I'm just looking for some regular levers, nothing too terribly pricey and preferably new.

Any ideas?

That's pretty awesome, do you know what brakes they would go on? best I could figure was they may fit the BL-07s. From the looks of the lever, the cable gets routed under the bar tape which is def what I want.

As far as I know, Hudz only does brifters from Campagnolo and Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra. I'd kill for them to make some hoods for the Tektro aeros though.

Diacompe makes a great vintage aero lever which comes in white. It's about $70 on eBay.

I found this awesome place that had tons of white hooded aero levers. It's called 1987.

You build the time machine and I will use it to go back and kick 2 year old M4Bandit in the face for not holding onto a few pairs.

Haha, you win.

I have a set of Campagnolo aero levers that have white hoods in decent shape. Some Bleche-White may make them sparkle.

weak, one dude forgot his robe so decided to bring his sword to try and make up for it and the other guy can't figure out how to get his hood on right:(

White brake hoods get dirty so amazingly fast. I just (re)built up a road bike with white hoods and after about 50 miles of riding the hoods are already grimy. I wear cycling-only gloves too. Soon as the bar tape wears out I'm switching to dark blue or black hoods.

My road bike just happens to be a 1987 Peugeot Triathlon.

sorry for the necro but would these hoods fit the stock brakes on a windsor clockwork?

Watch ebay. 2 months ago I got some NOS Shimano 105's with white hoods. $45. Awesome. Just gotta clean them now and then.

psirue 07-28-09 03:52 PM

everyone should email Hudz and ask them to make Hudz that are compatible with Tektro R200As. I did once and they said they would if there was enough interest in the product.

bryyando 07-28-09 03:53 PM

i just need hoods though. I can get white 105s for 40 i believe. unless they have been sold.
