Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Did you check if the Bic pen trick works on those U-locks? Maybe you'd get yourself a set of wheels and frame/fork.

That really sux that his bike got jacked like that.

Sure they are.

I even knew someone recently who had their bars/stem/brake stolen and that's it...the wheels weren't even locked, either.

update pics? an animated gif of the parts disappearing one at a time would be hot.

i'm glad thieves are so damn incompetent and lazy. If I had a badass drug habit that I "had" to feed by ripping off bike parts, nobody would be safe.

i'm pretty sure cutting a rear phil wood hub out and leaving everything else better describes some dude that noticed there was a nice hub set locked up for a month than a junkie.

There can only be one possible reason to take only the rear hub, the thief already had an aerospoke up front anyway.

It's gone!!!
No sign of a broken lock or anything.

It was there at midnight last night and as of 9:30am it was gone..
Funny how it sat for so long and hours after it was posted on the forums,, gone.
