Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

IMO you're better off with a Kilo.

eh, those are nice cranks, I dont know why you would use decent road cranks on a conversion, I wonder what happened to the rest of the 600 group. I dont know that I would pay 400 dollars for it, but by the time you replaced the garbage parts on the kilo you would have payed more than you would if you bought that conversion. I bet you could talk the dude down sub $300
