That **** is dope as all hell. She'll outgrow it in a week. Then he'll build her another one. And then another one the week after that.
Why can't Don Walker be my father?

It's nice to know DW loves us more than he does FGG. He posted this beauty when he had it done about a month ago.

If I had any children I sure as hell would not let them ride a carbon fork. Walker bikes are absurdly priced. For 2200$ I would want my damn name engraved on my fork crown. It seems a lot of so called "artisan" frame builders are neglecting the art of crafting a good fork.
Who wants to build a fork when the elves in taiwan can glue em together!

It's nice to see people getting their kids interested in bikes, especially track bikes. The bit on FGG about him being really happy his daughter wanted to be a bike racer was really cool.

Thanks to those who dig it, like it, etc.
No, I am not adopting any "kids".
Chainline?...geeez guys, cant think of anything better to complain about?
And yes, I did wipe tears away when she said she wanted to be a bike racer. Quite possibly the happiest moment of my life. ( I am easy to please)

well, the fillets seem like they could be a little smaller...just kidding. i have done enough metal fab. to understand the amount of time to make clean details. as an architect i appreciate them even more. i am sure people would be shocked when they realize the amount of man hours it takes for a custom bike - for $2200 you are getting an amazing piece of art. hell, the photographer probably charged more than that to shoot the bike.

if i ever have a daughter, i'm gonna build her a bike as well. only mine will be made with conduit from home depot, and welded together with a torch and a few coat hangers. yeah, it'll be a peice of ****, but it'll build character. then when it breaks and impales her, she'll totally have a reason to hate me when she gets older, rather than just teen angst.
you gotta plan ahead don.
