Hook your foot under the front pedal.
I've seen it done, but never tried it myself.

yeah, you just gotta put a more than usual amount of weight over your handlebars and really press with your rear foot. If you're thinking about going strapless with no brake it's a bad idea 'cause it takes more time and prep. But, it's not my front teeth so what the hell, go for it.

well i'm just curious. I don't plan on doing it (i love the feeling of straps way too much) It's just, I ordered an IRO and forgot to order the pedals so I'm going to have to use my dad's old strapless pedals for a while.

Just order some clips/straps/pedals from somewhere, they will be to your house in like 3 days.

what happened to your clips/straps from your old bike? (I'm assuming there were some because you said you like the feel)

yea. i wouldn't count on doing it, but it's not hard.
it's actually easier to one-footed skid with no straps. lean forward till your dick is crushed by the stem, stick your front foot out and lock your back leg up.

It's easy. Just kick you front leg forward like you were doing a leg over but do it under the bar and it makes strapless skidding pretty easy and you'll stop quicker than you'd think. Just be careful as it takes a bit more strength from the trailing leg.

i dont have straps and havent been riding very long but i've learned to skid without them. not at really high speeds or anything and i find my left leg (not my main one) has hardly any pressure on the pedals. obviously i have to work on it, but like i said, i haven't been riding long. it's possible though d:
