Crank Upgrade: Tool?

I ordered new cranks to replace the Truvativ Touro's that came with my bike. I'm not going to replace my BB.

Question: Will I need a special tool in order to swap them out?

Thanks.

um yeah... a crank puller?
unless you want to just take the crank bolts off and ride the bike until the cranks fall off; but trust me, it's a lot easier to just buy a crank puller.

if they're the new (last 3-4 years) touro's they have the crappy powerspline bottom bracket which may not work with your new cranks. powerspline is like a really shallow isis that isn't compatible with anything. best to sort that out first.

I checked with Raleigh...the bb is a Shimano UN54 (Square taper - 110.5mm)
I'm replacing the cranks with Andel's from Ben's. Hopefully I wont have a problem.

Thanks all.

as long as they both are square taper than you will be fine... square tapers are pretty much universal.

and yeah, you need a crank puller

oh, and a 6mm (i think) allen to get the crank bolts on and off.
