Mutant/The stem thread.

Just got my yellow 3t Mutant stem and put it on the Bianchi, looks awesome. Lets see bikes with some Mutant stems (or just cool looking stems will do)

Check my signature. The Mutant is on my black Fillmore and another 3T (ARX Pro) stem is on my Poprad. Even though they share the name, the new 3t is a revival of the original 3T which had gone out of business. They have different owners.

TTT Stem on my green IRO.
I like it, but I think it's a little long. Probably for sale if anyone wants it.

I really like the Mutant design so I just got one from ebay for my Pista 08. The seller wrote:
"With respect to compatibility, the diameter of the steerer clamp is the relatively common 28.6 mm, which will fit any 1" steerer tube and the handlebar clamp size is 25.8 mm".
If I'm not wrong the Pista diameter should be 1''. So why this Mutant is too big for my steerer tube?
Any suggestion?
Thanks
