    QBP Travel Agent

Does anybody use these? I am having a hard time setting them up and getting rid of the mushiness with the road levers. What has been your experience?
    Thanks,
    Karl

I used to have travel agents on my tandem and they worked great with Ergo levers.
Now I use DiaComp 287-V road levers mounted on moustache bars on my mtb. These aero road levers are made for V-brakes. No travel agent required on this set up.

In my experience, travel agents suck. They are a kludgy solution at best. I have a tandem that was equiped with travel agents and v-brakes and, while it worked okay, the brakes felt like crap. Plus, the travel agent kinks the crap out of the cable where it crosses from the big to little diameter.

I've since installed dia-compe 287V's and they work great. I have more power and much better feel of the brakes.

Set the pads up with NO toe and pray they don't squeal, the feel should be much better.
