Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bike Music for Radio Show

If you have any good songs about bikes then post them up. I'm doing a radio show tonight and I want to play some stuff that I haven't before. Punk songs would be nice; there's one by an all-girl group that yells about being on two wheels that I would especially like. Cheers.

There's a bicycling theme in the soundtrack of Pee Wee's Big Adventure--which IIRC is a reference to a bicycling theme in The Wizard of Oz.

Love them

and Boy Meets Girl by Ghost Mice is my favorite song to sing when riding my bike when no one is around. Folk punk guys/girls write a lot of songs about riding bikes so look into the entire genre really

Probably wont fit with the punk songs but if you want a mellow song, Mylo - Sunworshipper

Also not specifically about bikes, but I like to think it is. Arcade Fire - No cars go

Pink Floyd - Bike

I've got a bike
You can ride it if you like
It's got a basket
A bell that rings
And things to make it look good
I'd give it to you if I could
But I borrowed it

+1 Kraftwerk, **** yeah
