Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

cars barely notice knog lights esp. if they're so low. I recommend a stronger light like the superflash that is mounted higher.

I put the front knog on my left fork leg. Out in the burbs the streets can have some decent potholes and the lighting isn't always the best, so the tiny light helps a bit with seeing them before going in them. The rear goes on my left seatstay, right up by the seattube junction so I can turn it on/off while riding.

right fork blade and seat post. I really like these lights. They are small, inexpensive and fulfill my legal requirement to ride at night.

I think $13 each is rather expensive for what they are -- except for the silicone body the PCB would be trivial for a third grader to make at home, but the colors and size are too appealing to pass up.

That's the only thing really going for them anyways. Low powered LED with no lens element and you have one fantastically useless light. Especially the way most people use them, which is as a primary light. Hope you guys like getting hit by cars.

Those things are so cool, the price is a bit steep given how you need at least 3, but oh well.
