Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

looking for pics of frames w/ different color fork

trying to decide on what to color to powdercoat my frame/fork.

i vaguely remember a seafoam green (light pastel green) with a white fork...it might have been the other way around, but i really liked it.

anyways.....post some pics!

My bike is ugly because it's an old Bianchi steel frame powdercoated blue, but I got a Litespeed fork for free and it doesn't match, and I didn't have the time or money to get it stripped/clearcoated. So I just rolled with the yellow (yellow toe straps, bottle cages).

Thanks. The TT and downtube are somewhat triangular in cross section. The bars are Easton EC90 track bars, which I swapped out today for Deda Pista bars. The Eastons are too slick on the top for in-town riding, and I can tape the Dedas all the way up. You can't tape the Eastons. Oddly enough, the Eastons are noticeably heavier.

Build list:
Wheels - Mavic Ellipse, or Corima Aero carbon tubular with Phil rear hub (not pictured)
Crank and BB - Campagnolo Record
Headset - Campagnolo Record
Stem - Thomson X-2 -17deg
Seatpost - Deda Blackstick
Seat - Fizik Aliante
Brake - Campagnolo Record
lever - TRP carbon
Frame - Wilier Pista, originally not drilled, and in Cofidis team colors. Front fork drilled by me, frame custom painted by Noah of Velocolour in Toronto.

That Yamguchi has GT style seat stay with a TT seat tube and track ends.

It's Lovely!

And what a paint job!
